Some days having a spirited unconditionally loved (meaning unconditionally confident all my threats are BS) preschooler is hard.
That is all.

Awww… Hang in there mama.
Oh goodness yes. Solidarity, friend.
Hugs..
hahaha… (sorry to laugh) but I am so in the same place with mine. Solidarity and sympathy all the way!
Awwww. Well, don’t kill him just yet, lol. Just remember we did the same to our parents but it got better. Xoxo
I look forward to the post 10 years from now when you long for the preschool phase and curse the teenage years 🙂
That won’t happen. Ha ha!
Aw. It really is harder than anyone lets on. Or at least, it can be. We are living proof that it CAN get better, but man oh man, it can be a long, hard road. Journeying that road has taught me important lessons. I savor, to the fullest extent possible, what I call the “blissfully normal” moments – when things are actually going as you envisioned they would when you decided you wanted to become a parent. I hope you are finding those moments, too. And it most certainly makes me far more accepting and less judgmental, though I suspect you never had a judgmental bone in your body! 🙂
Thank you. Your friendship and perspective mean more to me than I can say. Indeed, I really get what you’re saying about cherishing the normal moments. I’m so glad to read you say things can get better!
